Irédé Is Loradé’s Soulful Alter-Ego

My given name is Loradé, and I was born into an artistic family. If there is one truth I have known since childhood, it is this: That I was born to sing, write, design and live a life in the Arts. Alas, I grew up, and tucked away the innate artist to appease the “norm” by first pursuing “stability” in other walks of life rather than express the soulful artist’s heart and voice…

Thus, for the better part of my adulthood, I have been pursuing the mundane and all the ups and downs that come with navigating the corporate world. I have found myself sometimes feeling like a caged bird just waiting to be set free, whilst walking other paths of Life, “making a decent living” but still missing this “je ne sais quoi” sense of complete inner fulfilment.. The saving grace for me till now, though, has been the ability to express my creativity in other artistic avenues such as in visual & graphic digital arts (like building this website), photography (à propos: there’s a book release announcement coming right up on this website – so keep reading…), writing, voice acting and keeping up with a vivid and active imagination, all of which have ensured that I’ve kept intact: my quirks, artistic impulses and my overarching sense of childlike wonder at the magnificence of Life…

Now, after the new post-pandemic “normal”, I’ve found something precious – Indeed, an epiphany more-like: And it has awakened the boldness to step back into my real life’s purpose and unapologetically be exactly that which I was born to be – Loradé, the multi-layered artist!
